Jelibon Candies and Jelibon Vampir

Jelibon is a Turkish candy company who specializes in those special treats known as gummi bears, gummi worms, and other foods that could be easily turned into a gummi substance. Jelibon first started manufacturing in 1987, and has grown from Jelibon ayicik (the gummi bears) to 12 different types of foods in their catalog.

The most popular type of Jelibon candy at this time is the Jelibon Vampir candy. Jelibon Vampir are gummis just like the other candies made by Jelibon, but the Vampir brand looks like vampire teeth! So you can imagine how creating this unique treat has become popular for kids, and in fact, Jelibon has an entire website setup for kids to play games based on the Jelibon Vampir candy. This website is however only in Turkish, so if you are not able to read the language, you will find navigating it quite difficult.

If you live in Great Britain, it's fairly easy to purchase Jelibon gummi candies. They are imported by the Kent Food Company, and should be available in your local Turkish grocery store, and possibly your regular grocery store.

If you live in America, the only place we have been able to locate Jelibon gummi candy is from the Amazon specialty grocery store (see above item for more info). Amazon will import Jelibon for you, but Amazon's supply is usually fairly limited. However withthe growth and popularity of the Jelibon brand, expect Amazon to begin making the Jelibon brand more accessible!
